Light Up Orpington 2024

Time: 2pm - 7pm

Join fellow Orpingtonians as we mark the start of the festive season and light up Orpington for Christmas 2024. Brought to you by Orpington 1st and supported by Manak Solicitors and Walnuts Shopping Centre.

The High Street will be pedestrianised from the War Memorial to Homefield Rise to safely accommodate a range of festive family entertainment and stalls, with businesses open as usual (Traffic will be diverted along Gravel Pit Way).

The main stage at the foot of Knoll Rise will feature a full line-up of live performance.

Visit Santa in his sleigh inside The Walnuts and receive a gift (3pm - 5pm - subject to availability). Plus, there's free face painting courtesy of Thomas Dunton Solicitors.

The carousel, helter-skelter, Ferris wheel and other fairground favourites will be in the high street - this year joined by the exciting Manak Solicitors Virtual Reality Experience located outside Manak Solicitors office at 265 High Street. Smaller children's rides will be located in Market Square and the Hope Centre in The Walnuts will host craft sessions.

Join us at the main stage from approximately 6:30pm as we build up to the countdown to the firework finale!
