Light Up Orpington 2025

Celebrate in Orpington Town Centre as we mark the start of the festive season and light up Orpington for Christmas 2025.

Brought to you by Orpington 1st - the town centre business community - and supported by Manak Solicitors and The Walnuts Shopping Centre.

The High Street will be pedestrianised from the War Memorial to Homefield Rise to safely accommodate a range of festive family entertainment and stalls, with businesses open as usual (traffic will be diverted along Gravel Pit Way from 9am).

The main stage at the foot of Knoll Rise will feature a full line-up of live performances from 1pm - 8:30pm.

The carousel, helter-skelter, ferris wheel and other fairground favourites will be in the pedestrianised section of the high street alongside dozens of festive food and drink and gift stalls. 

Manak Solicitors VR Experience returns, this year with two full-motion virtual reality ski simulators - located outside Manak Solicitors office at 265 High Street - free for all to enjoy!

Smaller children's rides will be located in Market Square and there will be a festive activity inside The Walnuts Shopping Centre where children can write letters to Santa and post them directly to the North Pole at the Festive Post Office!
