Lift the lid on Orpington and you will find curiosities in abundance. Author Jerry Dowlen has pulled together many of these extraordinary stories and published them in his latest book Curiosities of Orpington.
As part of Orpington Literary Festival, join him at 11a.m. on Wednesday 15 May in the Business Suite at Orpington Library, first floor.
He will talk about some of the stories covered in his book, ably assisted by his friend and fellow writer Richard Bowdery.
