As part of Orpington Literary Festival come and join Nicky Forbes (drummer for the Revillos) and Alf Martin (chief at Melody Maker, Sounds, etc) as they talk about their books ‘The Rhythm Method’ and ‘What’s It All About Alfie’ .
In a conversation facilitated by Khalid Siddiqui, hear of their encounters, adventures and mishaps - from working with the Beatles in the 60s, through to the hard rock of the 70s and new wave acts of the early 80s.
The crazy touring stories, the chaotic TV appearances, the unpredictable interviews, and the friends made along the way.
