A special Baby Bounce as part of Orpington Literary Festival. Join Sheena Roberts as she leads songs from her Playsongs books.

Sheena has been making books for children since the late 70s. She was head of educational music publishing for A&C Black Publishers until 2014, creating a list of books for Early Years and Primary, which always focused on accessibility. Working alongside a team of like minded authors, illustrators, performers, sound engineers, designers and editors, she used audio, graphics, story, and video to engage children with listening, composing and performing.

When her own children were babies, she led baby music groups in North London, out of which came Playsongs: action songs and rhymes for babies and toddlers. Playsongs Publications continues to provide interactive play for babies, toddlers and their grown ups, drawing on traditional, new and world songs and rhymes.

Now a grandparent, she has made a collection of baby and toddler songs and rhymes for fellow grand people: Playsongs Grand Day Out, Playsongs Grand Exercise, and Playsongs Grand Sleepover.
