Let's dance.... That’s the invitation going out to all Orpingtonians as we welcome the arrival of the Lucy Griffiths Dance & Theatre Academy (LGA) into the heart of the town centre.

We are delighted to announce that LGA will be opening a new purpose built dance studio located at 17 Homefield Rise - the ground floor of the wellbeing centre facing Market Square.

Building works are already underway to provide a state-of-the-art venue, including a professional Harlequin dance floor, air conditioning, ballet barres and mirrors. The very best facilities will be complemented with exceptional teaching for all dancers and would be dancers in the area.

Both dance and performing arts classes for children will run during term time, with an extensive daytime timetable for pre-school classes. Adult classes will run during the day and in the evening.

With an official opening date in September a full school holiday program will also be available starting during the October halftime.

The principal, Lucy Griffiths, said “I would like to thank Orpington 1st for all their assistance in helping me find my new venue and for their support throughout the process, especially Sharon Baldwin. We look forward to opening our new venue in Orpington and welcoming our local community to the LGA family.”

Bookings are now being taken for the 2022 Autumn term. For more details, please email the office at Lucy@griffiths.co.uk or telephone 01689 827 669
