Chris Travers, Executive Director at Orpington 1st, said, “We’re always looking at ways to support the town centre and its businesses, and the prices we have negotiated with Veolia represent great value for our businesses. We look forward to working with them towards more efficient waste management for Orpington.”

With Veolia clients currently including many national chains the new agreement also stands to result in fewer refuse collection vehicles entering the town centre, benefitting the high street environment.

Veolia Area Sales Executive Gary O’Day, said, “At Veolia we offer efficient, cost effective, safe, and reliable collection and treatment of commercial general waste from organisations of all shapes and sizes across the UK, with minimal disruption to business. We’re delighted to offer these prices exclusively to Orpington 1st BID members and look forward to providing them with first class service.”
