TfL has published the results of its consultation regarding Orpington bus proposals for R1, R2, R3, R6, and B14.
A statement on their website says: "Following careful consideration of the consultation responses and a further review of what was proposed and the costs involved, we have decided not to proceed with changes to routes R1, R2 and R3 as these no longer represent value for money."
The graphic below shows how respondents answered the question "How would the proposed changes to routes R1, R2, R3, R6 and B14 impact you?"
A decision has not yet been reached on the proposal to withdraw route R6 and replace it with changes to route B14. TfL await receipt of bus operator costs and a decision is expected later in 2024.
