Orpington 1st is proud to bring the community together for
a summer of football‑themed fun in the town centre. As the
world comes together for the tournament, we’re creating
opportunities for families, friends, and local businesses to
enjoy the atmosphere right here on their doorstep.
What the programme is about
Across six weeks, the World Cup Party programme offers
a mix of free family activities, football skills sessions, live
entertainment, and community‑led moments designed to
bring energy to the town centre. And it’s not all football.
The programme also features a motor show and a music
festival, offering residents and visitors fresh experiences
throughout the tournament period.
Why the town is celebrating
Major sporting moments have a unique way of uniting
people, and this summer is no exception. The World Cup
provides a chance for Orpington to celebrate community
spirit, support local businesses, and create
shared memories in the heart of the town.
Whether you’re a football fan or simply
enjoy the buzz of a lively high street,
there’s something for everyone.
