After a long wait, Walnuts Leisure Centre burst back into life yesterday, and Orpington showed up for it. The opening ceremony, the ribbon, the cheers, the first splash in the pool, the gym lights flicking on like a heartbeat returning… it all felt like a small celebration of the town itself.
And just like that… Orpington got its leisure hub and its daily rhythm back. Ain’t no stopping Orpington now, we’re moving forward.
