Ahead of over 130 cinemas across the UK and Ireland, ODEON Orpington achieved the prestigious title of Guest Experience Cinema of the Year 2023.
With February 2024 marking eight years since the cinema first opened its doors the team have gone on to welcome around a million guests, with 160,000 visiting the ODEON Orpington last year alone.
Priding themselves on treating every guest as though they are friends or family, the team 24 strong team at ODEON Orpington aim to make everyone feel welcome, at home, and relaxed from the moment they arrive – an ethos which has set them apart and earned this remarkable recognition.

ODEON Orpington is also one of the few cinemas that continue to hold Silver Screenings on Tuesday afternoons - special screenings for over 60s, showing a selection of new talk-of-the-town releases and timeless classics.
Hayley says these screenings are just one of the many ways her team strive to foster a sense of community and provide a welcoming space for all.

- Another big family film, Despicable Me 4 is due to release in cinemas on the 12th July
- The highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine will be in cinemas from the 25th July which we're all looking forward to! Lookout for midnight screenings on the evening of the 24th July and be the first to see it!
- Lady Gaga is starring as Harley Quinn in Joker 2 Folie a Deux, set for release on October 4th.
- Rounding off the year nicely, Mufasa: The Lion King will be in a cinema near you 20th December.
